Sugar Land attorney Michael Brophy has been a successful civil litigator throughout the State of Texas for more than 22 years, and has been listed in the Bar Register of Pre-eminent Lawyers since 2004. Mr. Brophy has competently and cost-effectively handled lawsuits involving such diverse areas of the law as Maritime tort and cargo claims, products liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage and claims, and commercial law, and has practiced law in Courts from Texarkana, to Beaumont, to Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Corpus Christi, and the Rio Grande Valley.

In 1999, Mr. Brophy experienced first-hand the personal pain and agony of a divorce and a lengthy Court battle. Before opening the doors to his own private practice in 1995, Mr. Brophy worked for a 160-year-old, 60-lawyer firm in Corpus Christi; a 24-lawyer firm in Dallas; the Houston office of a mid-sized New York law firm; and a 4-man practice with offices in Houston and Corpus Christi.
